I like politics, good scotch, bowlegged women and Saturday night hockey.
There's little mystery surrounding my world, but plenty surrounding yours. I admit I don't like having my picture taken. Call me modest. I'm a helluva lot better lookin' than any of the mooks I hired to run this pub.
That said, they're a fine bunch of youngsters with energy to burn, and a point to make. So pay attention. You might learn something.

Where to begin? I was born on a brisk autumn day in the late seventies... that going back too far?
I'm a total music geek. I originally considered a career in radio before drifting into journalism. If I can expose someone to a cool indie band or artist they otherwise never would have heard of then my job is done. This cushy position lets me do just that.
As for my resume; I've contributed to Chart magazine, Mochasofa.ca, The Mississauga News , The St. Lawrence Community Bulletin and this upstanding E-zine. I received my J-school diploma from Humber College and I pay the bills working as an advertising copywriter and as a business writer.

I find it interesting that everything you are viewing right now can be reduced in its simplest form to either a one or a zero.
Here is my first name in binary: 0100101101101100 0111100101101101
This picture was taken in Australia where I faced my fear of snakes. Tomorrow morning, I’ll face my fear of getting out of bed.

Sold my soul to PR, but that's okay it's for the Royal Ontario Museum. What else: co-founded this slick mage-zine, was a producer at CFRB, teach journalism, been a contributing editor at Sources, staff writer for Network World Canada, freelance editor @Mixology.com, and co-published Realms Magazine - T.O.’s first sci-fi/comic book 'zine. I schooled at U of T and later Humber College.
Long walks, good music, great food, time with friends; life’s been a pretty delicious experience.

My first media job was in 1998 in British Columbia where I was a reporter for the North Shore News and also a part-time associate editor of three automotive trade magazines.
I lived along the shores of the Georgia Straight and explored beautiful Vancouver for a couple of years before returning to my beloved Toronto to help spearhead the launch of S&H.ca. I'm also the lead singer, guitarist, and a songwriter in an independent rock band.
This helmet keeps me safe.

When I looked at the results of a career aptitude test that I took in high school, the one item that jumped off the page was engineering.
After realizing how mediocre my skills were at one of the top schools in the country (U of T), I meandered my way into a Computer Engineering degree in 1995. |
